Love Hermione, Felicity and Imogen but not Harmony.

AllieW · 21/12/2010 15:17

I love them all except Harmony.

GingerbreadLatteGoneColdAgain · 21/12/2010 15:18

I love Imogen! I wanted Imogen for Dd, Dp prefered Isobel! To be honest not so keen on Harmony, do like Felicity but always think 'Flick' from neighbours eons ago!

GingerbreadLatteGoneColdAgain · 21/12/2010 15:18

Oh and Congratulations! Xmas Grin

Violet5 · 21/12/2010 15:39

Rupreckt · 21/12/2010 15:40

Love all of them but not Harmony.

rachxx · 21/12/2010 15:51

Felicity-lovely . Was on my 1st ever list, but OH said no straight away.

Hermione-I just wouldnt..

Harmony-ok

Imogen- Dont like, but popular on here

HelenaRose · 21/12/2010 17:26

I love all of them! I think Harmony is the most unusual and Imogen the most popular, depending on how that affects your choice.

crazycatlady · 21/12/2010 17:30

Felicity - love
Imogen - like
Hermione - a bit 'of the moment'
Harmony - the name of a chain of Soho sex shops

Iwasthefourthwiseman · 21/12/2010 17:33

I like them all :)

Nightstar · 21/12/2010 17:52

Personally I really like Hermione, I always have, long before Harry Potter, it's from Shakespeare (A Winters Tale, i think).

For some reason Imogen sounds cold and Harmony sounds American.

So I think Felicity would be my other choice.

PS. Congrats on having a girl! Very exciting

BerryinClover · 21/12/2010 18:14

Harmony makes her a hostage to fortune. Hermione and Felicity are too long. I like Imogen.

littleElif · 21/12/2010 18:19

love imogen. not keen on the other names though.

KittyTwoShoes · 21/12/2010 18:21

Congratulations!

They're all lovely imo. I've always particularly loved Felicity and Hermione, though. (I think you're the first person whose name list I've read and liked every name on! Congrats Wink)

Are there any siblings to see what 'goes' best? Or any thoughts on a middle name?

Firawla · 21/12/2010 19:30

same as everyone else i dont like harmony but the others are good. any of those other 3 would be lovely really, hard to chose from those

cowboylover · 21/12/2010 19:31

Oh thanks!

No other siblings and I dont think we are going to have middle names either. Our sirname is Charles and it would be like having 3 first names I think.

  1. Imogen
  2. Felicity

Don't like the others.

itsawonderfuldarleneconnorlife · 21/12/2010 19:40

congrats

Hermione - too harry potter
Felicity - too 90s neighbours
Imogen- nice
Harmony - I like it but it would only suit a particular kind of girl. It does make me think of the one from Buffy too.

Harmony is a very different name from the others, is there a reason for this?

Also please do given them a middle name, it creates an alternative for the future.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 21/12/2010 19:53

crazycatlady where do you live? I don't know a single Hermione around here.

Hermione - nice
Felicity - ok
Imogen - very nice
Harmony - porn star

LetThereBeRock · 21/12/2010 21:26

I really don't like Hermione or Harmony, but Felicity and Imogen are beautiful.

Imogen (dd's middle name, so biased)
Felicity- lovely

not keen on Hermione
Harmony is not really a real name for an actual person.

brimfull · 21/12/2010 21:42

Love Hermione and Imogen

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 22/12/2010 00:02

Love Felicity, was short-listed for DD. It means happiness. The only reason we didn't is because of long and harsh sounding last name and Felicity we thought too many syllables. Felicity Charles is gorgeous.
