Coralie, Meredith, or Phoebe?

surname Shailes.

I think Meredith.

P. Shailes isn't very nice and I'm not keen on Coralie, which gives you C. Shailes anyway! And in certain dialects Shailes will be read to sound like shells which means C. Shailes ends up seashells.

Phoebe :)

Meredith is nice but the "th" doesn't flow well with the "Sh" of your surname.

I like Coralie but with Shailes it's all a bit seasidey... coral, shells.

LOL, good point on the seashells!!! Thanks, hadnt really scrutinized that name yet. Whats wrong with P. Shailes? I could say 'P.S, I love you!' lol.
I think Meredith has worst initials- MS (multiple sclerosis?!) And I would use the mn Raine- MRS. But then that would make M.R. Shailes!!! :/

MadamD Am quite surprised you say that Phoebe blends with the surname too much when I think that Meredith blends much more for the reason shoppingdays points out above. But it is the name I am in love with. I just think Phoebe may be easier to use day in day out and is very 'us'

Same as sea-shells, you get pea-shells. PS is preferable to MS though...

I'm not much help am I? Sorry! You can now imagine the hell I had picking DS's name. But with DD it was always going to be Phoebe.

Coralie! Love it and it's reasonably unusual. Phoebe is my next favourite. Not overly keen on Meredith, sorry.
