Just spotted it in another thread, DH likes it too (miracle). Have a Caspar already. What think you?

Love it. But only cos I fancy Monty Don....

kreecherlivesupstairs · 15/12/2010 09:43

Lovely name for a dog.

indiechick · 15/12/2010 09:44

Love it, I know one, he's adorable (only 10 months old). Go for it.

Monty Knobsqueak is a silly name we used to give taxi firms when booking a cab. So they'd turn up to the club saying: "Taxi for Monty Knobsqueak." thought I ought to explain that. As you were.

< still roffling at Monty Knobsqueak>

This is funny! anonymosity, no worries, I knew you must have mis-read post Wink. Caspar hasn't left his room since I read it out though. Its lovely to be given a reason to get all high-horsey. I still like Monty, do you think it could be a name on it's own? The full versions are a bit beyond ridiculous aren't they?

They don't sound any more ridiculous to me than Monty does.

I love the name Caspar, and to me Monty seems very weak when compared with it.

I rather like it.

How about Jonty?

I like the idea that Monty can be from Montefiore - mountain of flowers - only the Italians can put so much imagery into a single word!
