What do we think...? (I'm ready for the onslaught :))

No, not with Autumn. I suppose I like it b/c with the "e" it is more of a surname and here in the US we do that a lot. But when you pair it with something like Autumn it just becomes more of a joke name instead.

Thnk Raine SPencer, daughter of Barbara Cartland.....hmmmm

I take it Autumn Raine is tongue in cheek - if not, then needs a serious re-think.

HmmHmm typsical the only nn's I can think of are Autty, Atty or Temmy?! It's a tricky one! Love, love, love RiverGrin x

Maybe Autumn Raine is a guilty pleasure! :) If I did choose Raine as a middle name, her first name would be Elizabeth, or something equally sensible. So no worries Wink

noddyholder · 28/11/2010 22:02

what about elizabeth ray?Could be Betty ray or lizzie ray both really sweet.

mybootsaremuddy · 28/11/2010 22:05

There is a Summer Rayne at the baby group i take ds2. Just about every parent was a bit Hmm when they first heard it.
Think Elizabeth Raine sounds fine though.

Thanks Melina, me too :) Not that I can take the credit as it was DH's choice!

noddy prefer Raine to Ray, but thanks for the suggestions!

When I originally thought of 'Raine', it was as a middle name to 'Adalyn'...

Raine is my Mum's maiden name, and I think it is a lovely classic name - wish I had thought of using it as a middle name!
