Here's the shortlist of baby names I'm considering that I generated with Mumsnet's Baby Name Finder. Let me know what you think.

Boys
Connor
Edward
Riley
Ryan

I like the name Connor but have been put off by the amount of naughty Connors I have taught over the past ten years. Same for Ryan! I don't like Riley (sorry!), Edward is nice and has lots of cool nicknames.

Big fat vote for Edward!!!!!

MelinaM · 18/11/2010 00:24

Absolutely love Edward -Ted/Teddy, fabulous name! Not a fan of Riley, very American sounding I feel!

hootiemcboob · 18/11/2010 01:29

One vote here for Riley.
In the interests of full disclosure, that's my youngest son's name. And we live in America.

Conor with one N. Or Edward.

randomimposter · 18/11/2010 08:13

Yes Conor (one n only).
Love the NNs for Edward but not the name itself.
Don't like Riley or Ryan at all I'm afraid.

Edward

TheGrumpalo · 18/11/2010 08:45

Edward, but then I'm biased, my first love was an Edward. Loads of nicknames for it but I like it.

muminneed999 · 18/11/2010 12:07

my other half has picked ryan but im unsure and hes dismissed edward but i like it for a middle name

Edward is my fave.
Quite like Connor.
Not keen on Ryan.
