I'm 37 weeks pregnant and expecting a boy. DH and I have been really struggling with names this time round (found it easy choosing one for our daughter - Alice) Anyway, our two current faves are:

Isaac Alexander (surname Mackie)
Robin Alexander

Any thoughts?

Isaac - no

Robin

Robin definitely. Certainly not cutesy but then I'm biased. I have a 6 year old one and a 46 year old one!!! Also I can almost guarantee there won't be another one in the whole school if that's important to you!!

I like both. Robin is a bit more unusual. Isaac seems a bit more masculine. For some reason I think of Robin as more of a girls name which puts me off possibly because I knew quite an annoying little girl called Robin. Also being born a few weeks before Christmas and being called Robin, people might find a bit strange, then again they might not notice.

Robin Alexander

I'd say Robin is a bit more unusual nowadays and is a really good name, altho I thought of Batman and Robin at first but that's only cause my ds loves it! But a few better famous Robin's out there Grin but I would prefer Isaac of the to, both good names imo though (not much help emoticon)

Isaac gets my vote :-)
