Boys names - back to the drawing board!

It feels like we're going around in circles and we have resigned ourselves to the fact that we won't have chosen for certain before the birth.
We do however have our final shortlist of five names and so I thought I'd see what all of you lovely people think :)

Fergus
Jasper
Ezekiel
Sidney
Titus

The middle name will probably be Henry, William, George or James, depending on which goes best with the first name we choose.

So, which is best??

Fergus and Jasper are ok.....the others are too wacky.

Out of all of them I'd say Jasper is the best. I think Ezekiel is becoming more common though...
I like Titus but I don't think giving a child a name containing the word 'tit' is a good idea, sadly.

I love Jasper and Fergus, and like Sidney. Not so keen on Ezekiel, and I think Titus is a tease-me name (tight arse).

See who he looks like when he arrives - he'll match one of them. DS2 was going to be a Patrick - but when he arrived he just didn't look like a Patrick.

I think I like Sidney best from your list.

Jasper for sure.

I like Fergus. I know Sidney is definitely a boy's name but I suspect it is going to be used more as a girl's name due to US TV and that might bother your DS.

I like Titus best but worry about popularity. I love Jasper and don't think it will ever get too popular as it's considered a posh name which is fine in my book!

Fergus -- Fabulous
Jasper -- lovely, but also a popular name for dogs
Ezekiel -- Fabulous
Sidney -- lovely, but it's heading into girls' name territory fast
Titus -- 'tights'

So Fergus and Ezekiel, and possibly Sidney.

I like Fergus, Jasper and Titus the best. Titus is quite common in Germany (pronounced Tee-tus). All great names that aren't overused.

Love Ezekiel with nn Zeke. Fergus and Sidney are fab names too. Not a fan of Titus and know a realy unpleasant 10yr old Jasper that puts me off the name.

I wanted Sidney for all of my DC but sdaly DH vetoed it every time!

TBH Sidney is the only one I love. Really not very keen on the others.

Please don't call a baby Jasper - that is a name for wasps.

Ezekiel is best by far.

Jasper is a dogs name.

ds2 was very nearly an Ezekiel nn Easy

Aside from that my fave name on your list is Fergus - just divine in my book

I am not keen on Titus or Ezekiel tbh.

The other three are nice tho as Sequins says, be prepared for the fact that Sidney is often used now as a girl's name (American influence?) in case that would bother you.

Ezekiel -- quite like, Zeke is a cool nickname but don't thimk I would ever be brave enough to use it.
Sidney - ok
Jasper - dog's name
Titus - No! Reminds me of Shakespeare and not in a good way (his worst play!)

Fergus James and Fergus Henry sound lovely

Fergus & Jasper are both lovely imo.

The middle names are lovely but I don't like any of the first name choices.

Ezekiel is great.

Jasper. But not Jasper George of Jasper James

You don't need to choose before the birth! When dd was born it was great to be able to have a look at her and choose a name. She ended up with a name that i had never even considered because it suited her.

Titus gets my vote

I like the first three. Fave is Ezekiel.

All lovely names! Favourites are Titus, Ezekiel and Sidney.

Fergus or Jasper. Sidney as an outsider. The other two are not to my taste.
