I tend to like all the names that have anna/ana in them but cant decide what is my favourite.

For instance:
Anastasia
Eliana
Arianna
Rhianna
Georgianna
Roxanna
Kristianna
Lucianna
Adrianna
Julianna
Tianna
Tatiana
Savannah
Alanna(h)
Katriana
Orianna

I really dont like Brianna or Leanna or Roseanna though.

i love anna on its own. it has been my number one choice for dc 2 and 3...went with dh choice for number 2, and had the wrong gender with number 3!....i have yet to decide if i will try to get my anna!

i also love anya.

Cortina · 06/11/2010 15:20

Anabella - although not on your list. Bryon's mother's name.

Georgiana I like from your list. But is in pronounced 'George-gee-arna' or 'George-Jayna'?

nickelbangBANGbang · 06/11/2010 15:22

i like Adriana.

and
Oriana.

kimbles1984 · 06/11/2010 15:25

Anabell

nameymcnamechange · 06/11/2010 15:25

Rosannah

AnnieBeansMum · 06/11/2010 15:25

I dislike Adrianna and Julianna the least out of your list. Sorry. I'm with Chimchar. If you want an anna - then have Anna. I have an Anya and adore her name, although she has been Annie since the day she came home from the hospital. :)

AnnieBeansMum · 06/11/2010 15:26

Ooh Anabell is nice too.

collision · 06/11/2010 15:38

Both ds's would have been Annabel.

Love

Anna
Anya
Anais

I am Joanna but Jo for short and I do like it.

valiumskeleton · 06/11/2010 15:44

Susannah
Annabel
Marianne
Anneliese

A lot of them are a bit too long or too fussy.

belgo · 06/11/2010 15:46

I much prefer Vivenne and Adrienne as the -ana versions are too fussy.

I like Anya and Nancy.

valiumskeleton · 06/11/2010 15:50

I think that an Anna/Anne name should have no more than three syllables! I'm not saying that this is based on anything other than my own personal taste!!

Vivien is beautiful. I love that. Viviana would be too much in my opinion.

Linnet · 06/11/2010 15:52

I like Joanna, Johanna is also nice.

LynetteScavo · 06/11/2010 15:53

DD's middle name is Tatiana.

DS2 was very nearly Anastasia.

BrigitBigKnickers · 06/11/2010 15:53

Alanya?

LynetteScavo · 06/11/2010 15:54

Anna is my overall favourite, though.

nickelbangBANGbang · 06/11/2010 17:21

It's Vivienne, though, for a girl.

I do agree that Anna is the nicest Anna name.

Caro1302 · 06/11/2010 20:21

Anna is a fab name. I also love Anastasia and Annalise, and Annabel is a good alternative to Isabel I think.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 06/11/2010 20:22

Love Anna just on it's own

dementedma · 06/11/2010 20:32

I wanted Anna for DD1. DH wanted Rose. So we called her Rosanna and now she gets called Rosie. Smile

ValiumSingleton · 07/11/2010 18:27

Vivien is English and Vivienne is French. I just prefer the less fussy version.

johnnycomelurky · 07/11/2010 21:50

I really like Georgiana, Arabella and Annabella. I also quite like Deanna but I have two friends called Deanna who are both strong characters so have good associations with it.

johnnycomelurky · 07/11/2010 21:52

Oops meant Arianna not Arabella
