I prefer Felicity (with Fi ("Fee") for nickname, maybe), more obvious how to pronounce it for a start.

Sarsaparilllla · 01/11/2010 12:29

Yeah, I was going to say the same, I prefer Felicity, I know one who is known as Flick for short

Its a lovely name if pronounced correctly, but she may get called Fleece.

candyflossbaby · 01/11/2010 15:10

people might link it to something rude...

smilingserenely · 01/11/2010 15:16

fleece was my concern

I like it but prefer Felicia (Fe-leessia). Lovely meaning (happy), I think.

TryLikingClarity · 01/11/2010 18:19

Don't mean to be cheeky, but I think with some accents it might sound like 'fleas' Confused

Felicity is a lovely name though....

valiumskeleton · 01/11/2010 18:21

ummm, too close to a word that could lead to rude comments. I don't like Felicity either. No obvious nn, very poker up the arse.

I knew two sisters called Felice and Clarita....they were inevitably known as Falatio and Clitaris...Grin

candyflossbaby · 01/11/2010 18:43

Felice=falice

Felicia=falatio

lilly13 · 01/11/2010 21:35

I prefer Felicity. Felice reminds me of an older woman from one of the southern states, aka Arkansas/Alabama/Lousiana, in the USA... Sorry
