Which do you prefer?
These are dh's top names for a boy at the moment, I like them both, one better than the other. He hates my favourites, so at the moment these are our only options.

Other ds have OT names (AMos and Eli), dd's do not have OT names.

Eek, that should have read Mordechai

tummytickler · 31/10/2010 00:11

I love Mordecai - with the nn Morrie and trying to get dh to come around to it (and Shem - they are my top names!)
Also like Gideon - dh does not like it.
No to Adam, Saul and we know a Caleb.
Can't have Seth with Amos as my Dad says they were pals in Emmerdale Farm!

Oh yeah, so they were lol.

I love Mordecai and Solomon.

Solomon

telsa · 03/11/2010 13:29

Solomon is lovely - but it's your judgement (ho ho)

Hedwig3 · 03/11/2010 13:47

Like both but Solomon would mean there is no initial-sharing as you already have an Amos.

Great names.

lanismum · 03/11/2010 14:03

Ilove all your names (I have an Eli) and Sol is on my list for the next one, Jared too) I think out of the 2 I prefer Solomon Smile

WestYorkshirePudding · 03/11/2010 15:03

Love Abraham :)

I had this on my lists for DS2 but OH wasn't keen. I like Solomon too although it doesn't sound as good in neighbouring Barnsley where I've heard people shout "come here our Sol" which doesn't sound good at all :o
