I like Naomi and Elijah the most :)

PirateScaredyCat · 28/10/2010 12:56

Tessa and Ted

CuppaMouldyBatBallsBrothJanice · 28/10/2010 12:59

Naomi and Elijah are the best. They aren't too popular, or too wierd, they sound good and don't have any unpleasant connotations.

Tessa and Elijah

DuelingFanjo · 28/10/2010 13:04

I love Dulcie.

RockinSockBunnies · 28/10/2010 13:04

Tessa and Elijah. There are loads of Harrys around, so it depends if you want a slightly more unique name. Not keen on Ted (as an official name, though I like Edward, nn Ted).

Psychommead · 28/10/2010 13:08

Tessa and Harry.

RockBat · 28/10/2010 13:10

Tessa is lovely. Like Ted but not as a full name. Naomi is ok, don't like Harry, Elijah or Dulcie.

frakkinstein · 28/10/2010 13:12

Naomi and Elijah

Very old testament :)

LadyInPink · 28/10/2010 13:17

Love Tessa and Naomi for a girl! I wouldn't thank you for a name with the word Dull at the beginning - asking for cruel nicknames imo!

Elijah is cute and so is Ted - too many Harry's imo atm.

Know a friend who has a Naomi and a Elijah and only had good comments - they are very religious though!

Guacamole · 28/10/2010 13:19

Tessa and Harry.

In fact Tessa is very nice, not heard the name used in a long time!

runningrach · 28/10/2010 14:01

I love both Tessa and Naomi, and like Elijah. Harry and Ted seem a bit too casual but not sure why I don't like Dulcie.

T and N are my tops picks for my DD due in 4 weeks actually, but struggling because Tessa is a diminutive of my father's new wife's name which I feel rules it out completely (feel it would be a terrible slight to my mum), and Naomi my DH dislikes because he went out with a "silly" girl called that once and also I fear it would bug me if everyone pronounced it 'Niomi' instead of 'Nayomi'.

SO hard to decide!

theagedparent · 28/10/2010 14:21

I have a Dulcie, lovely lovely name. Like Ted best for a boy .

Minione · 28/10/2010 14:45

I love Dulcie! Naomi and Tessa are also nice.

Like Elijah. IMO Harry and Ted are nicknames and Harry is far too popular.

Faaamily · 28/10/2010 14:46

I love Elijah. Great name.

Really strongly dislike Dulcie sorry (Dull, see?) Grin

Your other girls names are lovely. I particularly like Tessa / Tess.

thisisyesterday · 28/10/2010 14:46

Tessa

Elijah

BelligerentGhoul · 28/10/2010 14:48

Naomi
Tessa is okay (dd1 is Naomi but was almost Tess!) - don't like Dulcie.

Elijah

I like Edward with Teddy as a nn, or even Laurie with Teddy as a nn (like in Little Women) but don't like Ted on its own.

Don't like Harry.

spookyhalloweenFluffypomkins · 28/10/2010 14:50

Dulcie & Ted

Tessa and Ted

bytheMoonlight · 28/10/2010 19:18

I do really love Ted but I know many people do not see it as a proper name, so I'm not sure.

Elijah is dh's favourite.

Harry is the compromise name tbh.

Dulcie is a name everyone I know loves and both dh and I really like it. The only thing that puts me off is some people may not have heard of it so may think I made it up.

Naomi is a name we both really like

Tessa is my favourite but not dh's

Tessa and Elijah.

Mitchymum · 28/10/2010 21:27

I would pick Naomi and Elijah from your list.

CristinaTheAstonishing · 28/10/2010 21:29

Tessa and Harry.

SaorAlba · 28/10/2010 21:30

I like Elijah best from your boys list. Harry is too Harry Potter and Ted too much like a nickname.

From your girls list I really dislike Naomi but the other two are nice. (I knew a Naomi at school who was very annoying).

jellybeans · 28/10/2010 21:31

Naomi
Ted
