i'm working in a maternity hosp at the moment, and almost every day over the last 3 weeks we have had a Jensen!

Does anyone here have/know one?, it seems to have become very popular very quickly and when i tell the mums this they seem shocked and thought it would be very unusual.

Gawd.

No, I've not heard of any.

KenDoddsDadsZombieDogsNotDead · 26/10/2010 18:43

I have seen at least one birth announcement of a Jensen in the local paper.

BuntyPenfold · 26/10/2010 19:08

I know one but he must be 8 or 9

MardyBra · 26/10/2010 19:09

I came across one, named after the racing driver. [naff emoticon]

Piffle · 26/10/2010 19:12

BikeRunScream · 26/10/2010 19:43

allluckedout · 26/10/2010 19:44

I know 2, one is about 4 and the other about 2.
when i worked in a post natal ward at the beginning of the years, girls all seemed to be a mix of Daisy, Freya, Grace and Sophies (in the sw if that makes any difference)

thisisyesterday · 26/10/2010 19:45

yes, there were a couple in the baby competition in the local rag, and i know one myself

after Button presumably?

Suzihaha · 26/10/2010 19:48

Friend of mine has a 9month old Jensen.

SlaughteredSheep · 26/10/2010 19:50

I don't know any or know of any.

beccagrace2 · 26/10/2010 20:00

well for girls the biggest trend is may/mae for middle name....this has been mentioned here before tho, bur really almost every girl born at our unit has it in there somewhere! Lily, emily, violet, maisie, amy, tilly & daisy are quite popular too. I noticed lots of rubies last yr, less so now, roxy is the new ruby here.

Boys..i see lots of william's and harry's still, noah and fin are popular too.

the classic's like elizabeth, jane, kate etc that are mentioned lots on here are very under used at our unit, i have not met a jane! we had a danny, paul and a mark over a few weeks, made me smile!

FessaEst · 26/10/2010 20:33

I know a few Jensons - oldest is about 3 - def on the rise (not a good thing imho, makes me think of the Jetsons!).

scottishmummy911 · 26/10/2010 20:58

I know a baby a few months old called Jenson. Sounds like it is becoming popular

Rhubarbgarden · 26/10/2010 21:25

I know a 5 year old Jensen. His mother will be devastated if it becomes popular.

IngridFletcher · 26/10/2010 21:29

I went to 6th form with a Jensen. It was extremely unusual then (being in the days before the invention of the motor car).

LexiWITCHious · 26/10/2010 21:34

I nearly gave my DS the middle/nickname Button because he was born when Jenson Button was running away with the Championship (last year). My (F1-mad, oddly) DH overruled me. Still, got the middle name Lewis in (as it's a family name on my side) ha!
