Nicknames for Aurelia or Aurora?

Am starting to try and whittle down names for DC2 (Don't know if pink or blue...).

Have a DD already, aged nearly 2, called Ariana Eva or Ana most of the time for short.

Thinking of Aurelia or Aurora for our pink names. Quite like having a short nickname that we can use at home, just feels a bit more cosy/intimate to me to have one.

What would you do for either Aurelia or Aurora? Any ideas, or ones that you know?

I love Mila as a short name, but don't know if that's too far from Aurelia?! Rory seems to masculine for Aurora!

Oh Emmeline is lovely! Then you'de have an Emmy / Em and and Ana - they go really well together. Ariana and Aurora are lovely, if not a bit of a tongue twister.

Love Emilia, but very good friend has DD same age as Ana called Emilia, Millie for short.

I love Aurelia! Aurie for short. I desperately want to use it but dh hates it - says it makes him think of areola .

Aurora is also pretty, with Rory for short. Makes me think of sleeping beauty.

Aurelia or Aurelie is nice. NN can be Orry (or Aurie)... we had an Aurelie who was Orry at school, I love that name!!!

I don't think Aurelia or Aurora are v practical with Ariana irl, will drive you all mad. Also think Arabella is too similar.

Like all the others though.

How about Lorelei (German) or Leilani (Hawaiian)? They have some of the sounds you seem to like without being too similar.

Aurora nn Rory - there is a lovely girls story, v. dated, called Princess Charming with a heroine called this.

I also think Emmeline is a nicer name though.
