Hi there

We have girls names in order but just can't decide on names for a boy. This is the shortlist we agree on. Our surname is Flynn. Whichever gets the most votes we will go with! Thank you in advance

Levi
Mitchell
Leon
Riley
Ashton
Dylan

I like Levi best with your surname I think.

JeMeSouviens · 21/10/2010 10:36

Levi or Leon flow best with your surname

Komondor · 21/10/2010 10:37

Dylan is my favourite of your names, but Levi IMO goes best with your surname.

Unlike a girl, a boy doesnt usually change surnames.

Rhubarbgarden · 21/10/2010 11:24

Leon

christabell · 21/10/2010 11:28

Levi or Leon are nice, though think Levi sounds better with surname - not keen on others to be honest, these two are more classic and biblical, which is good.

JosephineClaire · 21/10/2010 11:50

Riley is my fave

minipie · 21/10/2010 11:51

I like Dylan or Leon (but Dylan Flynn could be too many Ys)

cumbria81 · 21/10/2010 11:52

Levi - only if you're Jewish
Mitchell - chavvy
Leon - cool! I like it
Riley - chavvy
Ashton - OK
Dylan _ I like this but not sure it goes with your surname

Expecting06112010 · 21/10/2010 11:55

im not a fan of levi at all, i find it really common sounding and for some reason it makes me shudder!! i find little levi's to be scallywags! but leon is very lovely, similar but totally different if im making any sense!!

Riley - Awful
Ashton- Its ok
Dylan - so-so
Mitchell- I like it, sounds like no one would mess with him, perhaps thats because of the mitchell brothers! haha!

loler · 21/10/2010 11:59

Leon

good luck with the new baby

expectingno3 · 21/10/2010 13:18

Riley Flynn rolls off the tongue really well I think, but I'd go for Leon, its the most classic name of the lot. Brave you for letting mumsnetters choose!!

CuppaMouldyBatBallsBrothJanice · 21/10/2010 13:21

Levi.

Leon comes a close second.

yummymummie1 · 21/10/2010 13:40

I like all of your choices but i have to say i think Levi or Leon would be best prob say Leon favourite closely followed by Levi

KenDoddsDadsZombieDogsNotDead · 21/10/2010 13:51

Leon

FimboBBINGFORAPPLES · 21/10/2010 14:07

Not keen on any of them but if I had to pick one it would be Leon.

Summatontoast · 21/10/2010 14:12

Leon, love it!

PelvicFloorTrauma · 21/10/2010 14:14

Dylan

expectingno3 · 21/10/2010 14:17

Quick tally, I think Leon's in the lead, what are your thoughts clpsmum?

Francagoestohollywood · 21/10/2010 14:23

Levi

clpsmum · 21/10/2010 15:01

Am happy to go with majority think Leon and Levi are both lovely think I slightly prefer Levi but will await outcome. Like all the names to be honest so am happy to go with majority (although don't sue me if u change my mind once baby arrives!) after all this will probably be a girl LOL

Leon! Love that name :)

MackerelOfFact · 21/10/2010 16:43

Leon for me.

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 21/10/2010 16:45

Leon. Levi has a vaguely chavvy ring to it to me

MardyBra · 21/10/2010 16:48

Levi - not that keen but it goes with the surname
Mitchell - really like this (and those who associate it with Eastenders would only be chavs anyway!)
Leon - like this too
Riley - OK no strong feeling either way
Ashton - OK no strong feeling either way
Dylan - doesn't work with the surname IMO

My fav is Mitchell followed by Leon.

clpsmum · 21/10/2010 18:21

I like Mitchell too, to be honest think my two faves are Mitchell and Levi the only problem is would Mitchell Flynn get called mitchelin or mitchelin man??
