Baby is due in 8 weeks. We chose names really early on. Girl's name we had decided on before we were pregnant. Boy's name took a bit longer and truth is there are no boy's names either of us absolutely love but this one we both like and it has a bit of meaning for us because the meaning of the name is also the meaning of DH's name, though the two names are very different.
But I am just starting to have doubts - I am worried we will get it wrong and saddle them with an awful name (though in fact our choices, while not that common, are quite conventional - no one is going to have to ask how to spell them for example).
I've liked both names for months now - can't think of any better alternatives - but am starting to think maybe it is wrong choice. DH says there is no right answer and it is not a test - there are lots of potential right answers and therefore I will never be happy because there isn't a definitive answer. We should go with what we've chosen already right? (We haven't told them to anyone yet - not going to do so until it is born).
