I'm not even pregnant, just wondered what you thought of the name for a baby girl
It was my gran's name, and just been thinking I would like to use it. My niece already has it as a middle name.

A very popular middle name round here

Tortington · 18/10/2010 10:53

i like it, although it was my dads ex wifes name and i feel ever so slightly disloyal in saying that!

Love it and so does DP and it would have been our choice if we'd had a girl but it sounds rubbish with DP's surname.
I think it's very pretty and simple. I prefer the May spelling to Mae too.

chickentwizzler · 18/10/2010 11:13

I prefer the Mae spelling.

Love it. I prefer the May spelling.

I really like it,unfortunately every other girl seems to be named Mae something or something Mae and it sounds the same as May. Now Mia on the other hand.... Smile

BuntyPenfold · 18/10/2010 11:24

Very pretty name, but much used as a middle name here. Lily May and Ruby May and Ellie May all over the place.
I still like it though.

domeafavour · 18/10/2010 11:27

I don't know any one who has it for a first name, but yes lots of middle names

Its beautiful, my dd has May as a middle name, it is popular, but she was born in the month of May, so I felt I had good reason.

stressheaderic · 18/10/2010 13:35

My friend's girl was born in May but is called April Confused

I know a May, she herself thinks it's an old-lady name but I like it.
