Elsie
Esme
Elspeth

These are names I like beginning with E although methinks they mightn't be to your taste as I tend to like quite old fashioned names and yours are more modern.

Minione · 17/10/2010 14:52

Forgotten Eliza!

ihave3beauties · 17/10/2010 14:56

They r pretty..i like Elize...thx x

Emilia isn't a misspelling, it's an alternative, isn't it? Nice name and 'goes' with Elouise.

Alivia is ridiculous, though. Livia is a lovely (and genuine) alternative to Olivia if you like that name.

I know a little girl called Eliana (Elle-ee-arna). No idea where the name comes from, or if it's 'made up' or not, but it's quite a sweet name imo.

I think in light of all the threads that pop up where nice names are spelled bizarrely by parents trying to be unique or original (and then the overwhelming majority laugh at them), it's natural to wonder if this is a bit of a piss-take.

Personally, I like the names you have chosen so far. Spellings are Hmm for me, but the names themselves are nice. :)

I like Eliza too. If you really want to spell alternatively, stick to what you've done so far, choose a normal name and change it, don't invent something new.

Best of luck with the birth! x

Thanks... i think your right... we didnt plan the boys..we had serious reasons for altering the spellings.. Camron was becouse we had a associate name there girl cameron and then Kurtis because we thought we may shorten it to Kurt...havnt yet though and he is 7 lol... and i agree we made normal names a tad different.. ellouise we put an extra l in by accidant and as we seem to have a pattern going it seemed only right to carry it on lol..
I am thinking emilia is a top runner right now... and dont want a made up name...i stumbled on it on here so cant be that bad lol.. i do think we all have different thoughts on things and we r entitled to that shame it has to come across insulting sometime's
thank you for your best wishes xx

Elize/Elise/Elisa/Eliza

SoupDragon · 17/10/2010 16:38

You can't have Elize and Ellouise, they sound far too similar.

Emilia is good, as is Eliza.

SoupDragon · 17/10/2010 16:39

or should that be Elizah? :)

ihave3beauties · 17/10/2010 16:52

i agree Elize elise lovely names but not with Ellouise... Quite like Maisie too....
im worried a small name will be drowned by Ellouise... ijm the only one that isnt soo keen on lily as its quite popular...i think double barreled would be noce but will it last.... Lily-maia...? Emmy-Maia however my maden name is Emmett..too similar????
Ellouise and Emmy i think they go...x

Evani (sounds like Ebony) - I met one a while ago - wasn't keen at first but it's a real grower type name.

loler · 17/10/2010 17:37

Just thought of another - Elodie or is that too similar to Ellouise?

BeccaandEvie · 17/10/2010 21:28

I know and Emilia and its shortened to Emmy. Very cute name. I'd never heard of it before.

letsblowthistacostand · 18/10/2010 13:06

3 beauties - it will not create a good impression for your children, when applying for jobs, and they have a mispronounced name.

Ever considered getting your childrens names changed to:

Eloise
Cameron

We all make errors during our follies of youth, and I'm sure your children will be grateful to you, when their older.

Sorry if we seem harsh on your names, but we're thinking of your children.

I have a friend who had a son at 17 and called him Westley, she realised her error and at 19 had it changed to Ruairi (she has an Irish surname and Irish paternal grandparents). Ruari is now 14, and agrees that he prefers Ruari.

Minione · 18/10/2010 14:06

Ooh, I love Ruairi (top of list!)
