Am having a baby boy (first child) and know very little about names and popularity or how common they are.

Which is less common out of Charlie and Louis? Louis we would pronounce the French way.

Oh dear, just seen this after a bit of Googling www.metro.co.uk/news/732934-top-10-childrens-names-which-make-teachers-think-theyre-naughty-clever-or-popular

Looks like Charlie's seen as a bad-boy name

Hehehe no no no, I have an almost 6 year old son called Charlie and I love it on boys. However I agree it sounds common on girls. My Charlie is only one in his class and there's only 2 in the whole school but at the moment there are lots and lots of newborn Charlie's where I live, but also Louis' too.

I love them both tbh.

Louis. Nice name.

I know more boys called Louis, but it's still at the top of our list of names if we have a boy.
