Boy's name to go with Kaydn

I know you will all hate the name Kaydn but that is my 5 year old son's name, before it became popular & no we are not chavs!(or so I like to think Grin)

I am now expecting DC2, but struggling to come up with a boy's name. Top of the list so far is Alex...

Any other ideas?

Thanks for the feedback.

I had no idea that rhyming names were so popular on here! Do all your DC have rhyming names? Hmm

What sort of names do you like?

Alex is fine. But isn't a particular type of name so don't really know what to suggest.

I'd guess that somebody who liked Kaydn likes something modern? Yes? Or do you like unique? The only person I know with a Kaden (I think that's the right spelling), has others with surnamey names. I won't out them here but things like Bailey, Harvey, Tyler etc.

Give us some more info and we'll suggest some names.

Yummygummybear · 07/10/2010 17:15

Well, although we have a Kaydn I can't stand names like Jayden, Bailey etc.

I want something a bit more traditional but not so much so that if I have 2 DS' they sound like they are from different families entirely.

Our original choices for DS were Kaydn & Jacob and I am actually glad we went with Kaydn as he has at least 5 friends called Jake or Jacob.

Alex is a good name, but it doesn't really go with Kaydn...

FallingWithStyle · 07/10/2010 17:17

Surely the natural choice for the brother of Kaydn is Kai?

ThisIsYourLeaderSpeaking · 07/10/2010 17:19

Something like Max would work.

Benjamin
William
Samuel

FranSanDisco · 07/10/2010 17:27

What about Oscar, Max, Harvey, Reuben, Felix, Joel - all quite trendy and having a revival imo.

TheNextMrsDepp · 07/10/2010 17:29

Bradley?

FranSanDisco · 07/10/2010 17:35

Noah, Callum, Leo, Jerome, Conor, Conrad, Jared?

BrigitBigKnickers · 07/10/2010 17:38

Rory
Reuben
Zachary
Oscar
Keylun
Leo
Oliver

asdx2 · 07/10/2010 17:40

Harley or Finlay or Ross perhaps

frankenfanny · 07/10/2010 17:41

Ashton

TheCrackFox · 07/10/2010 17:41

I love Alex, stick with that.

Arlo is becoming popular too.

Giddyup · 07/10/2010 17:42

I agree Max would go well Smile

Fimbo · 07/10/2010 17:51

Kaydn and Alex just seem too opposite ends of the extreme for me. Although Alex is a lovely name.

Kaydn and Jordan

Kaydn & Caleb

Kaydn & Connor

Kaydn & Josh

SoupDragon · 07/10/2010 18:27

What is it you don't like about Jayden and Bailey?

MrToad · 07/10/2010 18:44

Alex is nice. I agree with other posters it sounds a bit odd with Kaydn though.

How about
Flynn
Joel
Zac
Beau
Luka
Kit (short for christopher)
Billy
Dexter
Xan

I think Theo goes well with Kaydn. I know a Jayden and Theo who are brothers so to me it flows well.

I think Leo, Noah, Dylan work well too.
