Girl's name sorted, but what if it's a boy

Evenin' all,

DC3 is due in around 5 weeks and we've decided on Astrid Celeste for a girl (thanks for your input!), however am still undecided if the new arrival turns out to be a boy.

So far we like:

Ewan (slightly put off as surname is two syllable too ending in "-ham"
Rory (really liked this until DD2 (3) said "Woawy" and I started to wonder how bad it would be if DC3 couldn't pronounce his "R's"!
Vincent
Calvin

Any thoughts/suggestions?!

I like Vincent best from those but hate the nn Vince, so that would probably put me off. Calvin second but not overly fond of it tbh.

I like all your boys names, but agree Ewan might not work because of the surname clash. Rory is probably my favourite. Never met anyone in real life who can't pronounce their Rs. Maybe choose a middle name without an R in it just in case! I like Vincent, but not Vince. Calvin was on our short-list, but I was put off in the end by the meaning (bald) and its association with Calvinists (we are not religious).

3 of the 4 names sound quite Scottish to me - not sure if that's intentional. How about other names like Hector and Magnus? These have a similar feel to me.

Love Rory, I've got a touch of the Jonothan Rosses though and have always worried about choosing it due to that!

Rory still seems top of name pops, but Vincent is still a contender.

I think I might just have to wait until it's here before we can decide Dp came up with Luther last night - am so frazzled I don't know if I like it or not .
