I've got a Joseph, who is most often called Joey.
I really love the name Tom for the next one, but my husb laughs and says TOM AND JOEY.
What do you think? Honestly
Can we get away with it without people laughing and thinking violent cat and mouse?!
As Joey is the oldest, wouldn't people be more likely to say Joey and Tom?

Tom and Joey or Joey and Tom are both absolutely fine! (I guess it would be Thomas shortened to Tom?)

Other names which could go well would be:
Benjamin (Ben)
Alexander (Alex)
Samuel (Sam)
Joshua (Josh)
Matthew (Matt)
Nathan (Nate)
Zachary (Zach)
Luke
Theodore (Theo)

Thanks all.
I will carry on loving the name then, some of the other suggestions on our list too!

Tom & Joey does sound a little like Tom & Jerry, but I agree that you'll probably say ds1s name first.

I like

Joey & Alex (Alexander)
Joey & Quinn (Quentin)
Joey & Toby (Tobias)

We have exactly the same problem (already have a Joseph) and can't think of much we like/agree on/without complications for DS2.

You wouldn't think it would be so difficult, would you?

Thank you - StayFrosty :)

Actually - for me, this is DC4 but 2nd DS - so I'm finding it particularly tricky to find names that sound OK with the names of 2 DDs as well!

Yes. It is definately harder this time. I love the name Joseph so much I feel like he has 'hogged' the best name!
