Girls name to go with 'flouncy' surname?

Hiya

I'm posting this for our neighbour, she's having a girl very soon and they're stuck on names.

Their surname is Darling so they don't want anything too 'fluffy' because they're worried it'll be a bit too 'prissy' (their words) with their surname. Their ds is Hamish, btw.

So far they like:

Amelia
Sophie
Olivia
Katherine (or Catherine? I don't know how they intend to spell it.)

Any other suggestions?

I think while they're at the registry office they should all ditch the Darling surname and get a new one.

If they don't like prissy that is.

I think Darling is a fabulous surname. I'm really jealous.

I really like Sophie or Olivia with it.

Something solid, but feminine.

Julia sprigs to mind, but I think Juliet would be OTT with Darling.

You need something quite strong to eliminate prissiness, so definitely no Mollys, Kittys, Poppys etc unless you want her to sound like Jamie Oliver's lovechild.
