Sorry but I don't like any of them.

BorisTheBold · 16/09/2010 21:29

Most of them not to my taste (sorry)

Teagan - yuk
Liara - like Liar
Alana - yuk
freya - over used
lola - nickname for Dolores/Lolita, not good.
Alaia - meh
Nevaeh - NOOOOOOO!
Lucia - not too bad.
Dakota - yuk

SirBoobAlot · 16/09/2010 21:30

Alaia (Al-e-ah?) is the only one I like.

Please don't use Dakota. It would be cruel.

nigglewiggle · 16/09/2010 21:30

Alana is quite nice.

SirBoobAlot · 16/09/2010 21:30

PaulineCampbellJones · 16/09/2010 21:30

Please not Neveah!
In the same kind of vein how about
Lila
Leila
Ella

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 16/09/2010 21:36

Freya
Lola
Lucia

All lovely. The rest - not so much.

What about
Lyra
Leila
Florence
Lucy
Anya
Leah
Ellen
Eleanor
Tallulah
Alice / Alicia

Hulababy · 16/09/2010 21:36

Teagan - very harsh sounding to me
Liara - too close to liar/lier
Alana - not keen
freya - quite pretty
lola - quite like this
Alaia - not sure
Nevaeh - as in Heaven backwards? Hmm Not sure how pronounced
Lucia - OK, but prefer Lucy/Lucie
Dakota - don't like

BelligerentGhoul · 16/09/2010 21:38

Only like Freya.

Hate Teagan and Dakota, sorry - and Liara sounds both made up and semi-medical.

reddaisy · 16/09/2010 21:39

Freya is nice

bigstripeytiger · 16/09/2010 21:40

Teagan - I like the name, but not the spelling of it that you have here
Liara - Dont like
Alana - OK
freya - Nice
lola - sounds like a nick name
Alaia - Maybe
Nevaeh - No
Lucia - OK
Dakota - No

Bunbaker · 16/09/2010 21:51

Sorry, I'm not keen on those names except for Freya. Alana is OK, but the name reminds me of Rod Stewart's first wife. Hate Lola - it reminds me of that extremely buxom woman on Eurotrash:

Lucia is OK and Dakota and Nevaeh are pretentious.

Housewife2010 · 16/09/2010 21:54

Is Nevaeh a real name or have you invented it?

CDMforever · 16/09/2010 22:01

LOVE Lucia. All the rest aren't great, sorry.

Teagan - nope
Liara - ok
Alana - nope
freya - absolutely not
lola - ok
Alaia - hmm, not sure about this one really
Nevaeh - sorry to sound dim but I don't know how this is pronounced so can't really comment. Blush
Lucia - love it
Dakota - nope.

Faaamily · 17/09/2010 19:20

Lola is nice.

I know an Alaia. Pretty name. She is Basque, so think it might be a Basque name?

Not keen on the rest.

CanIgetmuchbigger · 17/09/2010 19:39

Like Lola, Lucia and Freya. Not too keen on the rest.

MrsC2010 · 18/09/2010 17:02

Teagan: No
Liara: No
Alana: No
freya: Ok
lola: Ok
Alaia: No
Nevaeh: No
Lucia: Ok
Dakota: No

I'm not the best person to ask as I don't like the trend for made up names etc so the Ok ones are just the ones that are 'real' names for want of a better description!

MrsC2010 · 18/09/2010 17:03

Sorry, I don't mean to rain on your parade. I'll have a think of some suggestions.

gibbberish · 18/09/2010 17:05

Freya, Alana and Alaia are ok, but not my really my taste. No to the rest, sorry.

TessOfTheBurbs · 18/09/2010 17:16

What about Lyra or Liora? They are similar to Liara but without the 'liar' bit and with some history and nice meanings.

Again, Alaia sounds like 'a liar', if I'm pronouncing it correctly.

Lucia has about four standard pronunciations (Loochia, Loosia, Loothia, Loosha) which could be a big pain, and I would expect a Lucia to be Spanish or Italian.

Alana is nice, so is Freya.

RaisedFromPerdition · 18/09/2010 17:20

Lucia is lovely but how would you pronounce it? That's quite important.

We have very different taste in names I think.

Nevaeh is a real name if by real you mean that people use it. I know a newborn Nevaeh. It was quite popular a couple of years ago. It's Not Nice.

resistanceisfutile · 18/09/2010 17:30

Love Lucia - it's a beautiful name.

Lola, Alana and Freya are ok too.

I really dislike the others though sorry

diddl · 18/09/2010 18:04

Like Freya & love Lucia.
