Because I love those names but we can't have another biblical name in our family. Please help - I can't think of a single one!

Oooh i do like cassius but that's too similar to a good friend's DCs name.

Asa is lovely but sounds a bit feminine?

I do like the unusualness of your suggestions - spot on - please keep em coming!!

what about Rory or Rudy?

grasava · 15/09/2010 21:22

I know what you mean!
But the biblical names are so nice, and strong sounding....and I'm not even a christian!
We have a Saul, (but some people insist on pronouncing it "sol"), and we would have struggled if last DD was a boy, as we could only think of biblical names (Caleb & Joel
being among them). :)

Love Ezra and Jeremiah - both on our shortlist. Biblical but not as well known.

oh poo - I really am stuck on all the bibilical ones - is it very bad to have biblical boys??

I have a Joseph and DC3 due in March will be Gabriel if it's a boy so both quite biblical and I think it's fine.

Even joked about changing DD's name to Mary just so she fits in.

I don't think its a problem to have all biblical names - my brothers are Matthew, Luke, Thomas and Joseph. If you love it - go for it, thats my philosophy!
