I had completely forgotten about this name and just remembered it now. What do you think? I feel like it is a classic, strong name and am surprised that I hadn't heard it making a comeback.

I am one of those crazy posters who hasn't yet conceived DC2 but am already compiling list of name.

I also know a Roberta whose name was shortened to Bertie - so cute.

Thanks everyone. The Roberta I knew was also called Bert. I really like it. My aunt is called Robyn but Roberta seems a bit more interesting.

Love it. Cool an not girlie at all. Good nicknames too.

I love this name - the incomparable Roberta Joan Anderson (aka Joni Mitchell) would be a great namesake

And Roberta Flack :)

Gorgeous name; love it.

I don't usually like female forms of names but I do quite like Roberta ( and Brianna and Erica!)

but if I ever had a girl her middle name would be Roberta after my dad, and hubbys grandad

Absolutely love the name. Beautiful!

Not usually a fan of such masculine names, but I make an exception for this one - quite nice!
