I think the Welsh version of the name is 'Bettrys' - so I'm sure you could use Betty.

I know someone with a DD called Madeleine and her nn is Mimi - so I'm pretty sure you can do what you like!

I have a Beatrice and she's pretty much always Bea.

Although a lady in Dr's surgery suggested her nn could be 'trisha' umm yes perhaps

Betty normal nickname for Elizabeth I think which is a lovely name too.
