Florence was our only one and have no boys name yet either.

Is it a problem for your DD to have the same name as D&S C's DD? Personally, if I had chosen a name and they used it, I'd go ahead anyway.

I agree - if it was a really unique name then everyone is going to think you got your inspiration from them, but as its quite a mainstream name no-one is going to say ' oh you copied the Camerons'.

They are more likely to say 'and the machine?'

Florence was getting a bit too prolific for me anyway, its entry into last years top 100 was that high its bound to be top 10 soon IMO. If you like it though I wouldn't let that put you off...

I think people who change their mind because someone famous has chosen it also is just silly.

I was a bit iffy with it getting popular ( though not met many round here) but that's just too close.

Dd1 has a v popular name and it's a pita tbh dd2 fairs much better with a more unusual one.

Oh dear Nymph that's a shame. I wouldn't let it put you off though if you really love the name. Next week I bet nobody will be talking about the PM's kids. I'm having naming problems too, I though I'd find a name that I absolutely love but it's just not happening.
