That's what a baby name announcement in the Times yesterday said - CL is little sister to MI. Is it just me, or is that a bit strange?

I thought this was going to ask which name, in which case I would have said Clarissa Isabel, as Melissa is rather 70s and Lisabel sounds like both made up and 70s. There may be family reasons for that combination of sibling namings. I've seen far worse.

sounds both made up and 70s, I meant to say.

Why oh why would you rhyme both of your dc's first & middle names???! Totally bizarre!

warrickhunt · 23/08/2010 08:27

hopefully neither will have a lisp...

I know a Lisabel born in the 1930s, so there may be others somewhere I suppose.
I think the rhyming names will be hated by both sisters.

GladioliBuckets · 23/08/2010 17:49

They all look like anagrams of the same names.

Harissa Jezebel for baby 3

I really hope their surname is Necessaryonabike.

eugh. too much issa and essa. Very hissy and harsh.

I'd guess that the names were Clara Libby little sister to Milly Imogen.
