If you liked Marcus, what other names might you like?

Marcus is my favourite boys name but was used by sister so need other suggestions.

DH is pretty much stuck on Harry atm but, at 30wks, I still cannot find another boys name I love as much as Marcus.

Marcus and Alastair/Alasdair (couldn't decide on spelling) were my 2 favourite names, but DH vetoed them both and then suggested something I hadn't even thought of.

DD1 would have been Marcus, my other choices were Nicholas and Dominic !

I love Marcus too, a good under-used roman classic. I also like Patrick, Julius, Dominic, Gregory, Peter, and slightly quirkier and so not quite in the same style as Marcus really, but I also love Thaddeus, Saul, Fergus, Donald, Victor

I knew a Marcus who had a brother called Magnus.

ValiumSingleton - that's nt the half of it, they were two of six, named in 'pairs'. Unfortunately I can't remember the rest of the sib set. It was spectacular.

Yay, how exciting. I have a Marcus and have never met another young Marcus, and it is a name rarely mentioned or suggested on here.
