Thnks. Heard of an Ariella the other day which I quite like and it made me wonder if there are any Arriettys (sp)? IRL as per The Borrowers?

Claude is quite cool

Oriele is my preferred spelling. Its italian and the name of DHs grandma.

I like Flora and Arielle

have you considered Oriane?

Don't like any of the boys names really - although could be persuaded towards Benjy/I.

I know an Ariella (American) she gets shortened to Ari.

Benjamin - you've got scope for Benji and many other nicknames. I think Benji after childhood sounds a bit infantile.

Celia is lovely, I've not come across that for generations.

Remember you're not naming a baby - you're naming a man or a woman.

I really like flora it's very pretty.

mathanxiety · 16/08/2010 16:56

I like Benjamin (not Benji), Nestor, Alannah and Cecelia (and especially Celia)

tanmu82 · 16/08/2010 17:00

I only like Allanah, though much prefer it spelled 'Alana'

I like Skandar, Carinthia, Cecilia and Florence.
