Friend asked us this years ago, to commemorate the presumed conception of their twins on a lovely beach in the Seychelles.

She was unimpressed by suggestions of Sandy and Shelley.

Mariluz. Not exactly nautical but Mar = sea and luz = light in Spanish and 'i/ee' sounds like 'y' which = and.

so translates to sea and light.

Morven - means mermaid, apparently.

Miranda - cos of The Tempest and that Waterhouse painting.

Or Morvah. I know a Morvah and it's quite nice (Cornish name)

Mara, means sea in Scottish Gaelic

Guinevere / Jennifer means white wave (I think).

Love the idea of twins Sandy and Shelley. I don't think they would ever forgive their parents, though!
