Eh?

Sorry....no. Please don't call your child Aesir.

But love love love Arlo.

Vine · 10/08/2010 12:32

Why not use Asa then?

NiceCuppaT · 10/08/2010 12:33

I like Asa but not Aesir.

NiceCuppaT · 10/08/2010 12:34

Arlo makes me think of Twilight, are you a fan?

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 10/08/2010 12:40

Aesir is the name for the group of gods in Norse mythology, IIRC. I would read it as "Ayzeer". Asa is quite a nice name though, and I used to know an Acer (think it might be a computer name though - he was American also).

Arlo is really gorgeous though.

Maria2007loveshersleep · 10/08/2010 12:40

I think your son would spend his life trying to explain that Aesir is pronounced Asa. Asa as it is actually is quite pretty.

mustrun · 10/08/2010 12:44

Arlo is much nicer, ans easier to deal with iyswim Smile

SardineJam · 10/08/2010 13:51

Agree with Vine nothing wrong with Asa

PuraVida · 10/08/2010 13:55

I'd think you'd made it up

skyeplusbump · 10/08/2010 16:32

no not a twilight fan...not so keen on asa...always thought of it as a very christian name, maybe im mad though...
