Already got Faith, no Hope or Glory...

Our first child is Faith, but I'm not going corny with a Hope or Glory. I had a MM in December that we wanted to call Skye or Skylar, which the other half still wants but to me it'll always be attributed to them.

For a girl I'm thinking

Beatrix Mariella
Esme Mariella
Mariella Nicola

and for a boy

Tobias Arthur (so they can shorten it to Toby)
Oscar Edward
Sebastian Jack

ok, hit me with your thoughts!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Esme Mariella for me, like all your boys names

BelligerentGhoul · 09/08/2010 21:00

Love your boys' names, especially Oscar Edward. Love Sebastian and Tobias but less fond of Arthur and Jack.

I like Esme a lot but not fond of Mariella. Prefer Beatrice to Beatrix.

Well one of my closest friends have just had a Beatrice, and being a secret hippy fart I just had to make it a bit different. Although I'd hate it if she got nicknamed Trixie or something...

Love Esme and Beatrix.
Love all your boys names though not second name Jack (think this is because it's really common in my area - South East)

Let us know what you decide.

oddly, i have a dd skye...ds would have been an esme (dp vetoed) or a beatrix, also had oscar on my list for ds and edward as mn!!

anyhow...really like esme or beatrix, tobias or oscar and all your mn's go nicley with chosen fn's...tbh i cant choose either! Grin sorry!

you have great taste though! Smile

WonderKate · 11/08/2010 20:06

Skyeplusbump I'm going to copy and paste your post and email it to the other half :D Fanx haha. Also, being a complete n00b to Mumsnet, could someone explain for my simpleton brain what DS,DD,DP etc mean? I'm going to kick myself aren't I... Confused

ds: darling son
dd: darling daughter
dp: darling partner
mn: middle name
fn: first name

etc...Grin

i had no idea either until about a month ago!Smile

just as a kind of p.s: two more names you might like:
Arlo (our soon to be sons name!)
and Christy,my dp's name (i love it but cant use for obvious reasons!)

but i love all your names anyway!Grin
