subject says it all really! Our (possibly very soon!) to be born daughter will have the initials 'PAH' if we use DH's choice of middle name. I like it as a name but not sure about the initials

so wise ladies/gents....what do you think?

I think it's ok, as long as it's not POO or BUM or something like that. I've been thinking about this too, as we would have a SOAP and a PLAP, but I think it's fine personally!

Better than PFFT.

Unless you intend buying her monogrammed towels, school bags and blouses it is not going to be an issue.

How many times do you use your full initials?

DS is CAN and only my father noticed, no one else has ever commented.

MrsMiamla · 09/08/2010 09:30

but of course she'll have monogrammed towels! surely everyone does this for their DC, don't they? Wink

I appreciate initials aren't used that much but i'm still not sure...

my dad's initials.

I think PAH is fine. I have a MOG and worried about the middle name for a bit, but we've never used the initials and love both names so its not a problem at all. If you love the names I'd go for it.

Just been thinking about other friend's children and I know of a GAG, SAG, LIE, GEE and BOM! But I've only thought of their initials because of this thread so they have obviously never come up normally.

ah, MOG is sweet though!

Can't see a problem with PAH really - those are DH's initials and he's turned out OK-ish!

I love it Blush
