Nn Pippa?

Is this getting too trendy? It's not here in the states at all. I love all the double P names (Piper, Poppy, etc) and Philippa with Pip or Pippa as a nn seems to have the most staying power.

Would they be "bosom friends"? :)

Phil was great. She's one of Anne's college friends; she's really pretty and vain but quite sweet and loyal to Anne. She was deciding which boyfriend she should marry (they were both rich and good looking, which she said were absolute requirements) and then ended up falling in love with and marrying a poor, homely minister.

My DD's friend Phillippa is known to everyone as Flipper .
I love it. Very good choice.

I remember her now... there was lots of discussion about fabrics for dresses with her.

I have to admit that I was as infatuated with Diana as Anne was, and longed for a kindred spirit like her. Reading it now, I suspect I would think she was a bit dull... Anne was the one with all the fab ideas .
