Finlay and Lucas.

My ds is lucas and if this one is a boy its going to be finlay.

Also like noah and zachary but DP says no.

Londres · 06/08/2010 16:31

Archie, Toby, Angus, Noah, Theo, Dylan, Sebatian, Felix, Zach, Alexander

..all real life brothers of Finlays I know of (or have seen on parenting sites)

MyMamaToldMe · 06/08/2010 16:43

I think Finlay and Oscar sound quite good

I know 2 families who both have a Finn and a Theo. Personally I would struggle to get my teeth in to say the "F" and the "Th" sounds, but they obviously like it. Smile

Logan

LaundryLyne · 07/08/2010 11:16

I don't like Rafferty I'm afraid. It's a rather frilly name. How about Ralph instead?

FranSanDisco · 07/08/2010 11:24

If you want another 'surname' type name you could try Riley, Regan, Mackenzie, Carter, Lawson, Harvey, Conor - all names of children in dcs school believe it or not Smile.

hottod · 07/08/2010 13:59

Finlay is not a surname type name. It's a first name, as is Conor. All the others you listed are surnames as first names.

I have a Finlay and Angus, but I'm Scottish.

FranSanDisco · 07/08/2010 15:42

Hottod, they are also surnames as one of them was my maiden name Smile.

rosecottage · 07/08/2010 18:03

does louis go well with finlay?

Not read everyone else's suggestions but...

Finlay and...

Duncan
Lachlan
Struan
Callum
Cameron
Logan

hottod · 07/08/2010 18:35

I can't think of many names that aren't also surnames. My maiden name was Alexander!

I think Lewis goes better with Finlay. Lots of young boys named Lewis up here.
