Specifically under-5's say, or under-10's even. But on the whole, how many?

And if you are ok saying area (county is fine) just to get a general view...

Thanks in advance

1 in my DDs baby room at nursery. 1 friend of a friend also preschool. Wearside.
Gorgeous name but unfortunately sounds like you are saying 'No' due to the Sunderland accent.

Phew96 · 01/08/2010 07:56

My DS (6mo) is Noah. He's the only one I know

I'm in South Yorkshire

trixiechick · 01/08/2010 23:45

oh balloon slayer you put your finger on it!love Noah and know none btw. couldn't quite come to terms with the nooo-ahh thing when picking names for dc1 (who turned out to be a girl anyway) it's hovering on the list for the current bump but reservations are still there.

None - Devon

pitterpatterfeet · 02/08/2010 08:49

I know of 3 Noah's under 3 but maybe it's more popular in Scotland

CupcakesHay · 02/08/2010 08:53

I was doing teacher training at a school in Devon last year - and there were 2 Noahs in Reception - one lovely, one a pain! And a very nice Noah in the year above.

Ineedsomesleep · 02/08/2010 09:09

I know one who is about 8 and I've only ever met one other in passing.

countrybump · 02/08/2010 09:12

I know 3 Noahs, all under 3. I'm in Wiltshire. Def increasing in popularity, but it is a cute name.

monicker2 · 02/08/2010 09:27

I have a 12 year old Noah.

It was very unusual back in 1998 but seems to be getting really popular now, much to my chagrin!

Still love the name though, and thus far, he's the only Noah in his secondary school.

pointydog · 02/08/2010 09:31

none. Scotland

mumtoabeautifulbabyboy · 02/08/2010 09:35

We chose it as the name for our 11 month old but on labour ward 2 other babies were named Noah which put me off so we went for Benjamin (much more common!). I know one other Noah from our NCT group.

mumtoabeautifulbabyboy · 02/08/2010 09:36

South East

tjacksonpfc · 02/08/2010 09:58

I know of 1 Noah under 5 in wiltshire.

OliviaMumsnet · 02/08/2010 10:00

3,
1 baby (think he's about 18m)
1 about 9 (this is son of a London friend)
1 age 7
I am in Herts

I love this name though so don't think the popular bit matters.

MyMamaToldMe · 02/08/2010 10:14

ben5 · 02/08/2010 10:15

LimaCharlie · 02/08/2010 12:35

Northants - 1 aged 6, 1 aged 3

englishmummyinwales · 02/08/2010 14:00

My 6 yr old godson. Will just add that they have just been to stay and everytime one of his parents called him, my two year old son thought they were telling him off. He started shouting 'No' very loudly and shaking his head. Having said that I really like the name and would have considered it but feel it's an unwritten rule not to nick your close friends' names!

LiquoriceLila · 02/08/2010 21:35
