Just found out I'm pg with baby no 3, I know its early days but I'm so excited I feel the need to choose names already!
for a girl me and DH like Lila, Olivia or Alice
if its a boy Jake, Elliot, and my fave is Caleb but unfortunately DH hates it but at least I have enough time to help change his mind!
I already have an Alfie and an Evie BTW.

I like Lila and all the boys names.

Olivia is very very popular and so is Alice although it is a lovely name.

IngridFletcher · 18/07/2010 18:09

By the way if I had to choose one of your boys' names to go with Alfie and Evie I would choose Jake.

Congratulations!!!

Olivia is popular but lovley,

I love Elliot and Jacob nn Jake.

CuppaTeaJanice · 18/07/2010 18:14

I like Lila and Caleb - you'll have to work on your DH!

Jake is only slightly less boring than Jack - there are far too many of them.

Rubena · 18/07/2010 18:14

I know someone with a Caleb and Evie! I feel like Evie is a nn though. Eve or Eva?

foreverastudent · 18/07/2010 18:33

You like 'li' in names then?

If you have Alfie, Evie and Eliot do you think it might roll off the tongue as Alfie, Evie and Ellie, though, which is a bit girly.

Also Olivia has the same number of syllables as the two other names put together.

IngridFletcher · 18/07/2010 18:36

I can't think of any Jakes amongst my children's acquaintances (live in Surrey). Lots of Jacks and Jacobs.

teameric · 18/07/2010 18:57

foreverastudent yes I must do! and I never thought of Elliot being shortened to Ellie which it will do I suppose, that has put me off it somewhat.
I think my my faves are Lila and Caleb.

Alice or Elliot, or Jake if short for Jacob.

mathanxiety · 19/07/2010 21:57

I dislike Caleb and I don't think it goes with the names you already have. Lila would be lovely, or Elliot.

BelligerentGhoul · 19/07/2010 21:59

I like Alice and Jacob. Really dislike Caleb, sorry.

meadowlarks · 19/07/2010 22:36

I love Caleb, but it's quite American against your other names. Not keen on Jake, I prefer Jacob or Jacoby. I also prefer Elias to Elliot. Olivia is the number one girl's name, but it's nice if you don't mind having dozens of other little Olivias around...Ophelia? Lila is nice, and Alice...well, I'm not saying your child will be awful but every Alice I've ever known has been awful. I always think of Alice Horton from the Vicar of Dibley too.

I like Lila, Olivia and Alice.

Also like Jake (if christened Jacob) and Elliot. I don't like Caleb.

Kathleen123 · 20/07/2010 08:32

I went to school with two Elliot's and neither had their name shortened to Ellie.
