Baby due today, so wont be long til we find out if we have a little girl or boy!
We chose our girls name 2 and a half years ago (before DS arrived!) and have been very happy with it.... Bethan Grace
Today I realised that the initials 'B.G.' is like the 'BeeGees'.... does this make the name silly? And if so, any other middle name suggestions?

Thank you

No, not at all. It's a lovely name, and the initials are absolutely fine - unless your surname is something like Gee etc!

Good luck

Lovely name. Leave it as is.

I can't really see that it's an obvious in your face homage to the Gibb brothers!!

I think to choose a new one depends on your surname, how many syllables is that?

Grace as a midde name is overused imo.

lovely name

good luck for the birth

Bethan Grace is lovely.

Those initials aren't bad! They are just familiar that's all.

good luck!

Doesn't matter at all. Lovely name.

It's completely fine! You're just having a last minute mini pre pregnancy panic! I'm sure I'll be right there joining you in a week!

CapitalText · 18/07/2010 19:02

Lovely name Even if anyone does think of the Bee Gees (which is fairly unlikely given they're not that recent a band), it will only be positive as they were good

5DollarShake · 18/07/2010 19:05

You're being silly - but in the nicest possible way.

The initials are fine - and when you add on the surname initial, it will water it down.

Cashew · 18/07/2010 19:33

Our surname isn't Gibb so think we'll be ok on that one! (Begins with a W...)
Thanks everyone for reassurance - DH said I was reading too much into it. Just glad we don't have to go back to the drawing board (I'm guessing it's a boy anyway!)
I know Grace is a popular middle name but we can't find another that we like as much and most people wont remember middle name after a few weeks.
Thank you
