Clara Jean or Lily Jean?

Hello,

I posted on here a little while ago - thanks for all your opinions - and subsequently thought that OH and I had agreed on Clara Jean (Jean as middle name).

He has now suggested Lily as a possibility (he still likes Clara) which I really like also but has thrown me a little as it means thinking again...!

What are your thoughts on these two names?

Clara is a really pretty name. I like Lily too, but it is VERY popular these days.

Lily Jean sounds like Billy Jean.
I prefer Clara, very pretty name

With Jean, I'd go for Clara Jean, because as FrazzleRock says, Lily Jean sounds like Billie Jean.

If you opted for Lily as the first name, Lily Clara would be nice.

Is Jean a family name? My mums name is Jean and if baby is a girl she has hinted about middle name being after her, but really dont like the name Jean and finding it really hard to find something that goes with it.
