Unusual boys names....

I've got loads of boys names, they need to sound like Logan, Ayden, and Korben. Here's my list:
Arran
Kegan (too similar to Logan?)
Kellan
Kevan (too like Kevin, which I don't like??)
Rowan
Rylan
Torben
So which, if any, sound good for a boy? DP has kind of given up, saying he can't think of which ones he likes, and I should choose! . His only suggestions were Clifton (I don't think!) or Brendan (one of my exe's was called this, so a big no-no!). Has anyone else got any other an/on/in/en/yn suggestions too?

Nelson
Wilson
Jackson

All surnames I know, but reasonable as first names up to a point?

Kellen is nice too, from your list.

mathanxiety I can't use Jackson...which actually was my 'reserve' boys name, but my cousin (that I was brought up with as a sister) has an 8mo baby called Jackson...which I suggested, as I didn't think I'd be having any more. .

I know far too many Ethans/Nathans/Kierons and Ja(y)dens to use any of those names.

I'm going to try and give DP this list later: Arran
Ashton
Edison (nn Eddy)
Kellan
Rowan.
To see what he thinks of the new additions to the list. Please keep the suggestions coming, we are at such a loss/impasse with boys names. Yet we have had a girls name since I was 6 weeks gone! Amethyst Susan (nn Ammy-Su). Why is it sooo much harder to name a boy? Is it just because I've already used my 4 best boys names??

FranSanDisco Don't get me started on Heston...DP is a massive Heston Blumenthal fan, there's no way I'm suggesting that, he'll never consider anything else! (And I like it, but don't 'love' it IYSWIM).

I think MIL may just have the answer....she suggested Reuben when she phoned a little while ago...it was DP's grandad's name apparently, and we both absolutely love it, with Roo for short.

kelvin?

Deemented · 17/07/2010 11:51

Brennan?

Tate?

CardyMow · 18/07/2010 11:11

One of my mates DP's is called Kelvin, and one of my other friends DS is called Brennan. Trying to find a name that I don't know of any others with the same name! Reuben is what we are sticking with I think, with Rowan and Edison as back-ups.

I thought Brennan was a girls name? Nice though. SIL has a son - Ronin.
