Angelcare movement & sound monitor - the sensitivity function backwards?

Just reading through instructions and it keeps saying that if false alarms sounds then sensitivity level needs to go UP (ie MORE sensitive).

The trouble shoot page says that if there is no alarm a possible cause could be that its sensitivity level is too high and needs to go down (ie LESS sensitive)

This seems backwards to me - surely if there are false alarms then its too sensitive and needs to come down and vice versa?

Its not backwards. If there is a false alarm then its because it hasn't detected the baby's movements so you need to increase the sensitivity until it can detect the baby's movements.

If its not going off then its because it is registering too slight a movement so you need to decrease the sensitivity so that its only picking up on the bigger movements.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Ant3nna - I think I was being a bit thick there! That makes sense now!
