Is there a baby monitor that has 2 'baby' units going to 1 'parent' unit? (ie for baby & toddler in separate rooms)

We bought a digital one which we didn't have the first time and they didn't interfere with each other.

We have a BT digital and a non digital TOMY and that works fine. Took me ages to work that out though.

well we stopped using one for our toddler as soon as the baby arrived so didnt have that problem, sorry. do you really really still need one for the toddler?

I don't think it would work, because it would probably interfere with itself.

Could you put the baby unit on the landing and leave both doors open?

Otherwise I'd suggest getting 2 digital ones rather than analogue as they have less interference.

yep, we need one for nearly 2 year old as he's not a great sleeper, and if we're downstairs we wouldn't hear him shouting (advantage/disadvantage of big old victorian house!) and want to be able to get to him quickly to settle in hope that he then won't wake up the baby who will be in room next door to him. some good suggestiosn here though, will start experimenting!

Try taking you set up to friends who have monitors and you may well find one that is compatable.

LadySanders, if you find out anything more let me know as I was also looking for another monitor - am quite keen to get one with temp on if possible as I quite like that feature....will keep a watchful eye out myself.

I'm also looking for a 2 room baby monitor for toddler and baby in separate rooms. Had a look online and mostly drew a blank- could only find one by Ncessity but it's for £209! Currently have a Tommee Tippee one (I believe it is Analogue) which we bought when we had our first 2 years ago. Might try Fandango's suggestion of getting a digital BT monitor for the other room. Any other suggestions welcome!

I looked everywhere for this .... Even the sales assistant in Mothercare said it would be a great Dragon's Den idea.

We bought a digital one in the end. So we have a Tomy analogue and a BT Digital one and there is no interference at all. this is the digital one No temperature on it though but on the basis the temp is similar in both rooms, we just refer to the Tomy one.

Same here, had no luck finding one so just bought another one and they don't interview with each other at all. Both BT digitial ones. My daughter who is nearly 4 now still has hers for the lovely lullabies that are one it

Have just brought the Safety 1st video monitor and looking at info you can connect another monitor to go to one parent unit - though think you would have to buy 2 units for that to work? But could check with company?

We looked everywhere for this too! Genius idea using both channels on the fisherprice ones though.

I posted about 2 way radios as baby monitors recently but a multiple monitor function is easy with these radios. You just select which channel to use and you could have as many monitors or parent units as you like. The Cobra one we use are available as a 4 pack from maplin for about £40. There is no licence needed for using these radios and they have uses beyond baby monitoring. They're pretty straightforward to use. The only caveat is they are less sensitive to sound than a normal baby monitor so you only get alerted to crying/shouting/loud talking. Whether this is a benefit or drawback depends on your style of parenting I suppose.

We ended up buying a Binatone digital monitor on ebay for the new baby. No interference from our old-non digital monitor ( a walkabout) we use for the toddler.

For what it's worth (and to seek help) I just bought 2 x BT150 digital monitors thinking I could just use the parent units from both, and one baby unit... no 'instant' joy, and BT cust service didn't help either.
