Best Baby Monitor: What Do Parents Recommend?

We’re new parents and totally overwhelmed by all the baby monitor options out there. Audio-only, video, Wi-Fi, it’s hard to know what’s really worth it. What’s the best baby monitor you’ve actually used and loved?

I've got a vtech one (can't remember the model) but it's been brilliant, easy to use and no problems. We originally went for a Motorola one that was really expensive and it was so crap we actually took it back to the shop months later and got a refund because it just kept disconnecting. Get a video one and read the reviews carefully. More expensive doesn't mean better. Go for tried, tested and reliable.

Babysense monitord are amazing! I’d get one that doesn’t use wifi. The babysense ones come with night lights, white noise, mic to talk to the camera and you can also buy dual ones too.

Hi, we recently started using app based monitors when we are visiting friends. I think they work pretty good and can be quick to set up. Me and my partner use our iPhones as monitors.
