Our video monitor can't see through travel cot mesh.

Our video monitor can't see through the mesh sides of the travel cot. I think DD might be close to climbing out so it would be useful to see if she's still in the cot or not. Please replay if you know how to solve this problem :)

Put it on a chest of drawers or something, looking down.

Place the camera somewhere higher (out of reach) and angle it down maybe

Yep, higher up is all that worked for us.. have to use my dads entire book collection when we stay at his 😂

Thanks everyone. I couldn't manage to get it in the right position to look down but it's good to know I'm not the only one with this problem. It didn't matter much in the end as she couldn't get out of the cot.
