Have I broken my baby monitor?

I accidentally left it on the charger overnight and now it won't turn onSad have I just fried the battery and can replace with a new one (obviously I don't have any to test this) or has it somehow broken the whole thing? So stressed as it cost a lot of money if it really breaks that easily Sad

We used to routinely leave ours plugged in all night, the battery wouldn't last otherwise, so I'd be surprised if that was the problem. Any chance it's under warranty?

It should be, we just bought it recently. Now I'm wondering if it's the cable and it hasn't worked at all

We plug ours in every night, if we fit it starts beeping low battery around 4 in the morning! Weve been using it approx 2.3 years and this has always been the case

What kind is it?
We had a Vtech one and the charger broke twice within the year warranty. My friend had the same and hers also did.

I doubt it will be having been left on charge overnight, most people will do that.

I don't know if you can just replace the battery but if it's relatively new I would either return to the shop or contact the manufacturer for a replacement.
