Hey! Everyone has been so helpful with recommendations for cribs and now I'm asking for recommendations for baby monitors! I've seen some that are around £100 and some for as much as £400 and they all do different things.

What do you use and recommend?

Get a bog standard audio monitor (I have a Phillips one for about £20. It's so sensitive I can hear my baby breathing over it). If you want video as well, get a free baby monitor app on your phone and pair it with an old phone or an iPad or similar in the baby's room.

Honestly? We had £10 ones from Asda that did all 3 of them and we’re fine!

Mine was also a big standard audio one

I was thinking something like that for video - maybe our old iPad or I might see if there is a way to link into the amazon echo show that we could put in there!

You reallydont need video- it can really fuel anxiety. If money's an issue, try second hand / eBay.

Get one second hand, I got a BT video one for about £25.

Video is nice now that she's big (2) and I can see if she's talking in her sleep Grin or actually awake

[quote soontobedaddy]Hey, if you have not bought any baby monitor till now, I would recommend hello baby monitor that does not cost much. It comes with a 3.2 LCD, which allows you to view almost three-quarters of the room on the screen, easily letting you know your baby’s next move.

Oooh thank you! I'll take a look :)

The BT video monitors are great, OP. And they’re a good price on eBay.
