Two camera baby monitor - HELP!

littleleeleanne · 10/02/2019 10:14

so I'm desperately searching the internet trying to find two cameras that will sync with one monitor so I can hear them both at a minimum. I'm happy to switch between cameras if I need to see them. I'm happy to have two cameras synced to my phone but haven't seen anything about?

Can anyone help???

Why can't you buy two separate ones?

Ok so a quick google search reveals quite a few options. Search for "dual camera baby monitor", quite a few options if you can't have two separate monitors.

The one I used has the option to connect up to 4 cameras to the monitor, but it only comes with one and looking on the internet just now it seems that they don't supply additional cameras! How silly! Perhaps you could find one on eBay or something, or buy a second set (I appreciate that defeats the point!)

In case it helps, this is the one I have: shop.bt.com/products/bt-video-baby-monitor-6000-088306-CQPX.html

I chose one that uses radio rather than WiFi because of the horror stories of WiFi monitors being hacked and live streamed etc.

Just to add, I’m afraid I don’t know whether, if you had multiple cameras, you could hear them simultaneously on the one I linked. I only have the one camera so can’t test it out, but the arrow picture implies it could rotate between the cameras (so maybe no simultaneous option for sound)

Two camera baby monitor - HELP!

The reason for wanting two cameras to one parent unit is for laziness of not wanting to carry round two units - however with hours of research I think it's my only option.
The current camera we have has an option to add another 5 cameras but you can't hear them at the same time, not such a problem during the day but an issue at night!
You can get cameras that link to iPhones etc but it just sends a toned alert like a text message which would definitely not wake me if one of my children woke up!
Thanks for all your help.

Have you seen this page? American, I think, but could be of use.
