When first child was born we had a very good baby monitor with a sensor board but now it doesn't work anymore. Expecting baby number 2 anyday and from what I've seen, baby monitors with sensor boards are quite unusual and expensive!
Any advice please?

I went for an Angelcare monitor but did get it off Ebay for about £35/£40.

Thanks for that, will try ebay and also will search out Angelcare monitors!

A second vote for Angel - Tommee Tippee at GP house is shite - very noisy. Angel one is a bit tricky to set it up, but has a handy voice activated setting. With DD1 I spent the first year with my ear attached to the BT monitor, so this has been a Godsend!
