Battery operated baby monitor to take on holiday

I am going on holiday shortly with my 5 mo DD. I want to take a baby monitor with me, but need one that runs on standard batteries (ie not rechargable) as we will not have a reliable mains electricity supply. Can anyone recommend?

(I don't want to spend a fortune if possible!!)

Depending on where you are going unless in the uk. One bought here my not be legal because of the frequency they run on. So check before you buy
